Annie, Greeter
Born in Maine, raised in Dover, and loved by everyone (including herself), Annie is a golden retriever with a heart of gold and a nose for meaningful gifts. As Birch Theory’s official mascot, Annie brings her signature blend of fluff, flair, and occasional drool to everything we do.Annie is proudly raised by her two moms, keeps her Grampy company, and adores her sisters Charley (they have the same birthday!) and Ryan (even when they try to dress her up). She swims like a fish, plays like a goofball, and protects her family like a very stylish furry bouncer. Her bestie is her cousin Rookie, a chocolate lab with questionable decision-making but excellent stick-finding skills.Catch her snoozing in the sun, sniffing the latest arrivals, or gently judging your gift wrap skills.
Annie says: “Shop small. Bark loud. Stay golden.”

Laura, Owner
Laura is the creative force behind Birch Theory, a modern gift boutique rooted in meaning. Based in New Hampshire, she juggles a full-time gig as a project manager at Fullscript, runs a shop full of perfectly harmonized treasures, and still remembers to feed the dog. A former event planner, graphic designer, and blog writer, Laura’s résumé reads like a Pinterest board with a deadline. She has a passion for thoughtful gifts, sleek design, and color-coding everything. At home, Laura is proudly outnumbered by the best kind of chaos: her two daughters, Charley and Ryan, a very golden retriever named Annie, and her wife Kristen.Like all women she will always "figure it out".
Laura says: “Shop small. Move fast. Use Jazz hands."
